Difference in Hemi vs 4.7 aftermarket intakes?
Is there one? They pretty much look like they're interchangeable.
Has anyone tried to fit a Hemi-designed aftermarket intake to their 4.7, or vice-versa?

I don't think that the Hemi/4.7 is what makes the difference. I believe it would be the size of the throttle body intake. Now, I am not a mechanic by any means but seems the intake for a 5.7 litre would be larger than that of an 4.7.
in all probability, yes. The throttle body should be a larger diameter, but I'm not certain. I don't have a Hemi. =(
I just want to know if anyone's tried this.

If your asking because you found a deal on an intake for the wrong engine, remember you can always buy a silicon adapter for the throttle body, say a 3.5 inch to a 3" adapter for plumbing to replace the regular adapter that goes to the trottle body with the kit.
There is a difference. Multi-fit intakes block the oil dipstick tube on the 4.7, if the intake also fits the Hemi. If you have a 4.7, buy an appliication specifically for that, not multi-fit.
I don't know that it is recommended, but I bought a cold air intake kit from Volant for the 4.7L in '02. Then I bought an '03 Hemi and put the cold air kit on with no problems, there is an orange rubber ring that is on the throttle body or it may stick to the factory intake. Take the orange ring off and the Volant intake slides right on. I am currently using the intake on an '07 but I had to do some minor modifications.
Just about all intakes will work on either 3.7,4.7, and 5.7. Minor a few changes in getting some longer breather hose but thats about it.
My airraid is from a 2005 hemi all I had to do was get a longer breather hose.
But I do know that if you get one of those intakes like aem or mopar the heatshield to bolt up to the radiator will be factor due the year of the truck but not the motor.
