DODGE RAM -VS- TUNDRA..
Yes, it was all in how they did it. Watch the Toyota at the begining he locks the brakes and lets the ram begin to spin the tires, then once the Ram is melting the tires he power brakes the truck.
Fella's, Fella's, Fella's.......Don't get me wrong here...I like my dodge....But i think when a manufacturer like Toyota/Nissan enters the pickup truck melee, it can only help.

i bet if you started spinning the wheels on the tundra a 4.7 ram will drag it the other way once your spinning less grip easyer the pull

I agree with the others. you can clearly tell it is rigged. I have a friend montana who has a tundra
, and it is no contest which of the 2 is better. RIGGED.......
either way it will be interesting to see what they say at the dealership.

Of course the ram lost, their was a 10 wheeler full of sand chained to the front of the toy. LOL Man these Jap toys are made for the city, owned a few older models, the minute they saw the river I needed to cross for hunting, they started backing up by themselves, and anytime I did manage to cross, the truck barley made it back home, the ram, jumps in the water (over the wheels) and no issues.
Well as promised, i contacted Toyota of Bellevue this morning, and the salesperson i spoke too (Woman) indicated that she's seen the video clip, and believe's it was taped in the back of their dealership. But to make sure, she's going to have one of the sales guys call me to let me know for sure. Also to let me know what kind of Dodge it was.
Well Gent's, I just got off the phone with "Toyota of Bellevue" and spoke with a "Brandon King 1-425-306-4468"
Who stated that the Dodge pictured is a "Hemi". He also stated that they tested the Ford, as well as the Chevy also....And the test was done in 2 WD as opposed to 4WD.

Its all BS. I think its funny how much toyota totes around its 10600lb tow rating. Funny thing is that the 5.7L toyota has two rearend ratios; 4.10 and 4.30. The Toyota with the 4.10 has a lower tow rating than a comperably equiped Ram with a Hemi. Now that 10k rating from earlier is a toyota tundra, 5.7L with a tow package, 4.30 rearend, reg cab longbed 2wd. Now my truck with a a 4.10(rating taken from the dodge sales book for the 3/4 ton only due that dodge doesnt off a stock with 4.10 in half ton config.) being a 4wd quadcab hemi is rated at 10800lbs with the equivelant to toyota stock base rearend. Its all hype and BS. I wont even guess what the rating would be with a 4.30. I have a friend with a new tundra, he complains of its mileage. I can average 5-7 mpg better than he at the same speed, ranging from 55-65,that mds is nice right there. That clip is by idiots for idiots who think that the salesman will never lie to them, morons-sheep thats what they are. Im perfectly happy with my ram knowing that it can preform the work and has years behind it that are proven.
