Default Exhaust Warranty Question

My 07 came with the unlimited powertrain warranty and I just want to make sure if I change my exhaust the warranty will still be intact. My dealer told me I could change anything from the cats back, but I'm just makingsure before I go swap out with a better sounding exhaust system.

there is a stick in the 3rd gen dak section about warranty. it has a link and takes you to a page covering some type of warranty act. pretty much, unless the mod plays a key role or causes the damage then repairs are not coverd. they have to be able to PROVE this. if they cant prove it and still deny you repairs, they can be sued

Cat Back will not screw up your warranty. Just don't touch the O2 sensors or cats. I work in the exhaust industry and that is my take on this.

yes you can change the exhaust and it will not affect your warranty. Also a lot of the exhaust warranty their products for several miles (example 1,000,000 miles). Regardless the exhaust you want will not void the warranty.
