2004 RAM1500 5.7 Quad, no bu5 on display

Default 2004 RAM1500 5.7 Quad, no bu5 on display

I am new to the forum so please excuse my in ability to do a search. This past Friday my dash went crazy. I am seeing "no bu5" on the display. My wipers, gauges, sirius, fuel level all!! of the gauges not working. Even my wipers. Any ideas fellers?

sounds like something electrical.... start with the basics... check your connections and fuses.....

that's what'd i'd go with, and i'd reccomend getting either a haynes or a chilton manual for your truck if you havent already.

I belive it's telling you "no bus", meaning the CAN bus that sends information to the dash cluster is dead or unplugged.

The only problem they don't have a manual for the 07 or the 08. There is another site that was posted here that has at least the 07 manual and will probably have the 08 manual as well.

Either your cluster is bad or your PCM died....Or the wire that supplies the "bus" between the two is cut or grounded.
