Well, oddly enough no noise at all going to Church and back this morning. It's about a mile each way so I might not have gotten things hot enough but seems to me like problems with the Anti-spin would be worse when cold than hot.

My original plan was to get it to make the noise again then try adding a little of the friction additive (I happen to have an unopened bottle on hand I was going to use in another car) to see if it quiets up. A trial and error procedure I read about while searching on here.

If that doesn't work take it to a local dealer and ask about warranty.

That's real close to what the prices are like where I live. Around my part of Idaho the used truck market is wierd
In my case I guess it's a tradeoff for our real estate being cheap

We bought our 3400 square foot place (925 of that is a garage) on 1.7 acres in the country for 155,900 5 years ago.

if you have that warranty take it to a shop.... if no luck change the dif fluid your self and inspect everything... if all is well in the rear and you still have a problem it could be one of the components in your steering system....

What are the chances I change the fluid myself and find problems only to have Dodge give me crap about doing my own flud change and causing the problem?

Yeah, I've had alot of bad dealer service over the years. You should hear some of the crap Audi has tried to pull on me.

Lol that house with that lot in boise is a 400K plus. Thats if its an older house. New house that big with those lots are 500-750k no joke. We bought our house just over a year ago in the "cheaper side" of the valley we payed 180k for 1500 sqft with .33acre

Yes. Plenty of choices.

A former boss owned a Viper for awhile and later traded it for a SRT 10. Might ask who his dealer is since they likely have a good relationship.

My place was built in 1994 so it didn't require updating like our first 1949 era house did.

Boise, huh? My brother-in-law was stationed at Mountain Home for awhile. Made a few trips out to visit.

If I ever left the Southeast I'd probably move out that way. Would have trouble selling the wife on the Winters though.

Boise's winters arent near as bad as the restof the state. I love it out here but we had such a boom of people in the last 4-5 years its getting kinda crazy. It still hasin my opinion the small town attitude and is nothing like simular sized areas (approx 500k for the treasure valley) I visit. I am just sick of all the californian yuppies moving up here haha lol.

Mountain Home= Dust Bowl

Around my part of Idaho the used truck market is wierd i payed 17K for my truck 6 months ago with 55,000 miles
I'm not ashamed to say I paid $20k for my truck this past June, also an 03 quad cab w/ 55k miles. I had to be a white 4x4, it had to have the Laramie package, and it had to be in perfect shape. This truck was traded by the original owner (verified it w/ CarFax) and was somebody's commuting vehicle in Atlanta. From the black heated leather to the spotless exterior, it was the truck for me. The asking price was $23.9k and I made my offer without even considering that fact.

Like others, I'd consulted the AutoTrader and unless I wanted to drive to Miami, I wasn't getting this truck at any price anywhere else. It looks really nice parked in front of my business (computer store) too.
