Well, some of you may laugh at me for this. But honestly, look on ebay.I was looking on there for awhile beforeI found one close for a little more than I saw them on there for. I live in Idaho also and bought my Subaru Legacy GT from NY, it has been a great car. I could have bought a truck similiar to mine for anywhere from $9,500-$13,000. I got lucky and ended up getting mine for $11,500 (they wanted $13,000). You can have it shipped for around $800-$1300. Really is a pretty easy process.

So basically,it sounds like you could find a truck for possibly $2,000-$4,000+ less, shipped to you.
Yeah I have looked on ebay before and even was looking at a Chevy Z71in Texas(before I got my Ram). I have heard some horror stories about ebay. And when I was looking into the truck I was trying to doit outside of an ebay contract, the sell luckily fell through and I would have to definatly find a "cant live without" vehicle if I were to buy it off of ebay.

What are the odds that people would pick not only the same car but the same truck too?!
Huh? The car in the other bay is my wife's 2002 Audi A4. I've never owned a Subie. Almost talked myself into a WRX when they were introduced but wound up deciding on a Mustang GT (that got traded on the Cobra later).
I was referring to JayH2112's post where he got a Subaru Legacy GT. It's a pretty rare car to begin with which is why I was suprised to run into another owner here on the Dodge forum.

Well, JayH2112 is no longer allowed here since he's got a Subaru - especially something as boring as a Legacy.

Oh, wait a minute, my truck also has a car it shares my driveway with:

Well, I wish my Subie was as nice as that one. I like it, is that a turbo by any chance? That year, if its a GT is should be is my guess.

As far as ebay, you just have to be careful. Just like with any time you are buying a car/truck. I have bought a car, my parents bought a van, its all how you play it.

Here is mine....

Yep, my "Camry with a hood scoop" is turbo. Nobody around here ever recognizes what it is and lots of people snicker when they see "2.5 GT" on the back, as that's obviously not enough displacement to be anything fun. It's got a few mods and feels like a 13.0 @ 104-105 mph car which is enough to take care of the real ricers. It'll get a few more upgrades soon, like a bigger turbo & front mount intercooler. It's time to get the ol' sedan into the high 11s [8D]

I like the older gen Legacies too. It's funny how I never even noticed them before but now when I see one they always look luxurious compared to similar cars of those years.

"Camry with a hood scoop", thats a good one. They can think that until you pull up next to them and leave them in the dust. Those turbo Subarus kick butt. One of them is next on my list.
