oh my lord, I should have checked this thread out earlier... :O
At any rate, I am one of the suckers who paid $50 a PW. Now that I know what I know about these trucks, and what I know about these PW's, I wouldnt buy another one. Thats not to say that I wouldnt make one! Knowing now, I know I can make one for about $5. It does feel crisp, when coupled with a CAI.
Hank has his own opinion, and is entitled. However I think such a strong oinion should be left in your pants, and saved for another day when it is needed. The OP was simply stating that he bought a new mod, was proud of it, and wanted to boast a little. What kind of mods are you running Hankie-poo? Enlighten us as to how a 'REAL' truck should be built.
Until then, lay off these guys and chill. As for the rest of you guys, dont let what he says burst your bubble. Your existance here isnt worth an over opinionated member...

the powerwire is a 4.7K resistor tied in with your IAT sensor (sensor coming from your intake)...thats it, just cut one of the two wires and tie it in, wrap it, and get on it!
It convinces your engine that it is 20-30degrees colder outside....of course when its super cold it plateaus out but as you can figure out, colder air is denser and requires more gas, so you throw a lil more gas in to compensate
