just looked at dodge website and for the 08's the specs of the 4.7 are still the same 235hp-300lbft. I thought it was going up to 295 hp and 310 lbft of torque for 2008. is this an error at dodge.com or did the revision not happen?

 

Where did you get your numbers from? I heard it was going to be 375HP and 400Lbs of torque.

 

375 400 sounds extreme for the 4.7L I mean that would beat out the hemi? I don't think dodge would do that.

2009MY is when it's being changed across the board

 

2008 4.7 now has31% more power. The rating is 315hp.

that is correct, specs should be something like this: 290 HP, 320 Ft-lbs 9.8:1 compression, dual spark plugs per cylinder.

and i think thats about the biggest changes their making

 

With the lifetime warranty, I am guessing their will be all sorts of Torque Management in the factory tune that will take a while for the aftermarket to crack. Of course, at over 300hp, there is less reason to want to.
