Also, if any of you HEMI owners get a p2175 check engine light code, TAC: System low airflow like I did, clean your throttle body and clear the code and that takes care of the problem. Getting a throttle body spacer and being able to hear the air go through the throttle body helps. The cleaner the whistle, the cleaner your throttle body is.

A lot of the crud
is coming OUT of the engine
because of the EGR system.
I am in favor of periodic cleaning
but don't be surprised if the MPG drops slightly
for a little while after a carbon cleaning.
The same cleaning stuff that cleans the carbon off the throttle body blades
and removes crud from the back sides of the intake valves (improves max airflow) will also remove carbon deposits from inside the combustion chamber and reduce the 'real world' compression ratio. This drop in CR hurts fuel efficiency slightly until the carbon deposits build back up.
