Ok I didnt realize that the pump is sepereate from the timing cover, am I going to have to remove everything up front in order to get to the cover? AKA the alt, AC Pump, etc..etc..?

the new water pump does come with a pulley on the 5.9 and get a fan cluch wrench and something to hold the pulley while u loosen the fan and no it s not reverse thread

Big wrench and a hammer got the fan off the pulley for me last weekend. Didn't have to hold the pulley with anything. Took about 10 good smacks on the wrench handle to come loose.

I had to take the timing cover off because its leaking from there not the water pump. I figure since it has 110k on it and its apart I might as well do the pump too.

Ok, got it all buttoned up, it wont be so bad next time I do one. I could have it done in a couple hours now that I know about everything. Thanks for all of your help guys!
