Does anyone know if a front light bar would fit, if the truck has a 3" body lift? Im not sure how the bar connects to the truck im guessing it connects right to the frame but would i have problems now that i had to put in different brackets to hold the front bumper on?

 

Did your new front bumper brackets raise the bumper up 3" to meet body? I am pretty sure mose of the front bars mount to the frame I think it might look odd unless you could fab up some new brackets for the bull bar.

 

yeah thats what i was thinking. I also thought that maybe it would connect to the bracket for the bumper raiser but the are wider so they fit over the frame, so im not to sure.

 

i think it would depend on the bar... some mount to the frame some to the bumper... i now i have been lookin at a light bar that bolts up to the frame but its right where the tow hooks are... depending on location and your enginuity you could prolly make it work...

Looks like there are 2 different types. One mounts where the tow hooks go, the other goes under the bumper and mounts somewhere on the bottom

 

were looking at those for my truck a few months ago, if I remember correctly, they mount on the frame for the 3rd gen trucks and under the bumper for the 2nd gen trucks. Just email the guy hand he'll let you know!
