This is for what oil you reccomend/use...

The choices below are synthetics if you use conventional click that.....

Hemi before mds 5w-30
with mds 5w-20

also for filters either wix, amsoil, or mobil 1 they came back with the best test results in past posts......

 

I am running Mobil 1 synthetic Extended Performance - rated for 15K or 1 year - will change at 7500 miles.

Also using a Mobil 1 filter. - Once I regear I will be using Mobil 1 synth. in the axles as well.

I would be using Amsoil - but I didn't like the fact that it wasn't as readily available. - That was the determining factor for me.

 

I run Amsoil Diesel Engine Oil as well as Amsoil absolute efficiency filters, rated at 24,000 miles or one year although until I get to higher mielages and the engine is more broken in I will be changing every 10k...

Amsoil is only difficult to get your hands on when you don't know a dealer..

 

I use amsoil and love it... started that after mobil 1.... i am a member so i just order that way...

Actually, come to think of it, besides the trany's i run amsoil in everything My truck, and the GF's Neon. Motor and Diff's

My first oil change I switched to amsoil and i hade to use mobil one because I could not find any amsoil, but i will be ordering a case asap. of amsoil

 

I just put in amsoil recently but will probably switch to mobile 1 just because I can get it at walmart and dont have to pay for shipping.

 

She hasnt had her second oil change, but it will be to mobil 1 synthetic, still debating on the filter.
