A 2002? That just goes to show why I never buy a first model year for anything. Always too many bugs... As for covered parts...
My heated seats went out
Steering return line leaked, replaced clamp
Headliner replaced (the trim rim for the sunroof seperated from the headliner)
I had a bearing noise, so they kindly replaced all the idlers and tensioner for me before warranty was up.
Parts that failed because I am a "mod-a-holic"...
On my third CV shaft on the drivers side (stupid torsion bar lift with longer shocks)
Note: CV joints were fine, just torn boots each time it was replaced.
Things I changed before they got too bad...
Upper ball joints @30,000 miles (installed 35's with lift kit)
lower ball joints
tie rod ends
Passenger side CV shaft (because I replaced the driver side 3 times; figuredI might as well change it when I did the ball joints)
Current mileage: 48,xxx miles
regret any mods? NO WAY!

Cruse control ( N. safety switch ) warenty
noisey front suspension on ocassion ( 2500 ram ) dealer can never find the problem.
That is all, 06 2500 ram 5.7 6sp, 35,000 Km ( est 20,000 miles )
Most impressed with the mecanical build quality, but in researching the 1500 Ram, LSD and dodge automatics, cv joints basicly put me into a 2500.
My last 04 F-150 was close to being rebuit twice on warenty with the same mileage.
Problem I have found with Ford and GM and Dodge is that the old school 1500's were a better truck, but less car like, now the new 1500's have lost the truck strengths and adapted car qualities.
