I hate to say it but Chrysler was owned by "the people that brought you WW2" and you still own one...

My Subaru was built in Indiana by Americans, shipped by American transport, and sold to me an American in Florida, USA. That's as patriotic as I feel I need to be.

I guess you guys wouldn't get near a Mitsubishi Raider either, nevermind that they're rebadged Dakotas. It was actually that truck that got me interested in looking at Dodges since Mitsu doesn't offer the high ouput 4.7 in their version of that truck. Then I decided why not try a Ram, and here I am!

my friend has a 2006 titan. its roomy in the back. but the interior seems more plasticy than our ram. it has some power to it. but my friend has been back to the dealer multiple times for electronic problems like you guys have stated above. he ran out of gas when his gauge showe 1/2. his check engine light is constantly on. he always does reg. maintenance as well. his oil pressure gauge died too.

I must assume that there is sarcasm in your post! And yes there have been great Nissan trucks!

It is funny... a bit of topic, but I see posts here talking about not buying foreign vehicles etc (everything else is not good enough). I am loyal to Dodge, but I have owned Ford, Chevy, Mazda, Pontiac, Volvo, Subaru & Toyota. So far, I have been lucky as most of my vehicles have been reliable with the right maintenance. Personally, my loyalty to any brand ends when they stop being competitive. Dont take me wrong, I love my Ram, it rides nice, it is comfortable, plenty of power and torque. However, if my next truck was to be a gas (which it will not), I would seriously consider a Tundra. To me it has nothing to do with brand loyalty. It has to do with who has the best product out there for the price I am willing to pay. Any car that comes out like crap, not matter where assembled remains the responsibility of the manufacturer. Our trucks are not the only good trucks on the road.

well if you are looking for the best truck and the best turck for your money... the Tundra is prolly gonna be your last choice... They have tons of problems, they are no where near a heavy duty level, they have the worst crash safety rating, and they are way overpriced...

The Titans are nice trucks, My inlaws have one, and have never had a problem with it.I will say it has alot of power. It's actually rated more HP than the 5.7L HEMI, and it feels like it (Compared to my beast MegaCab). However I think the interior on the RAM's is nicer, I have a MegaCab so its a 2500 frame/drivetrain, So I can't compare in that aspect, cuz my MegaCab is way more heavy duty than their titan (Even though the titan is rated to tow more).

.. Just for the record, unless you got some special warranty, the Lifetime warrenty is only for your powertrain, not bumper to bumper. Just make sure you do EVERY Maintaince interval outlines in the owners manual and keep every reciept, because dodge if FAMOUS for getting out of warrenty work.

Don't know where you got your info chad, but just about all of it seems to be incorrect. The 08 titans are rated at 317hp and 395ft/lb and the 07's were rated at 305hp. The 5.7 hemi is rated at 345hp and 375ft/lb. they have the same tow rating but i would imagine the titan is quite a bit lighter because the ram is over 6000lb curb weight, so can see why it would be a little faster. but i've played around with my fair share of titans and ive never had one pull on me... and correct me if im wrong, but i dont see how your mega cab is based on a 2500 frame/drivetrain if its a 1500, last i checked a ram with a 2500 drive train would be a 2500. plus a 2500 ram will easily out pull the titan. The 08 titan is rated for 9100lb towing, and while im not sure exactly what the towing capacity for a 2500 5.7 is, i know the cummings is above 13000 lbs and i know that my 04 1500 5.7 is rated at 9100lbs (which is the same as the titan). Im not trying to be an ***, im just trying to clear up information
