yea.. i tried the whole parking light ground thing to try and trick the headlights and i had no luck. i heard that the 50w and 55w kits work for the 06-08s to fix our problem. I got the relay from vvme and he gave me so much **** and no diagram on how to wire it up so ive been stareing at it for a while but i might have found a way to rig it up. Ima try it this weekend.

Default hid blink

you need to install a capacitor between the hot and ground leads of the ballast . 10000uf capacitor will do. bill

i have been trying to get my bi xenon kit to work since december. I finally got them to work about 3 weeks ago. I tried all the capacitors and relays you can buy on ebay and even tried wireing the capacitors in myself. Nothing workded. However my success came from an entirely new hid kit. This kit can be found on eBay for a hundred bucks. The cancellor relay is built in the ballast and works great! however the only downfall is that it is only a single beam kit, from my research most guys with hids in 3rd gen rams only have a single beam kit

tie in 30ohm resistor, thats what everyone with that problem has done...Research the threads and you will get a writeup, this question has been brought up over 14,002 times. Your computer is sending a surge to detect the light (to check for lamp-out) and the HID's use alot less power, so the computer thinks you have blown bulbs!

Also, a canceller is used to eliminate this, tie it into the ballast. ; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-B...QQcmdZViewItem

Cheap kits dont come with this, its just plug and play...might be the better way if you know as much as me about resistors and ohms and that crap

Wish i would have read everything here FIRST..so today i disconnected everything, but the stock bulbs back in..SAME THING! I have high beams but no lows...doesnt that sound like i damaged the computer? I dont even know where it is....HELP!

Default 08 Dodge Ram Mega HID Lights not working properly

I have a 2008
Dodge Ram Truck. I put them in today and have an issue with them and was
wondering if you might be able to help me. We installed the Hi/Lo relay and
hooked them up to the factory lights on the left side of the truck. Hooked up
the Power cords to the battery, hooked up the ground to the ground on the frame
of the truck. Installed the canceller and then to the ballast, then to the
lights. On the right side of the truck hooked up the canceller and the ballest,
then capped and stowed the factory plug. This is were the problem started. The
lights worked great untill I started the truck. Once I started the truck about
5 min into running the lights started flashing then shut off. The lights did
this on low beam only, but did not do it on hi beam. We had another Hi/Lo
relay kit and switched out the relay and same thing. Fog lights are hooked up
and running fine. Had no issues with them. Please help me wit this if you can.
I really loved the lights when they were working.

You need to have a 50-55 watt system. The 35 watt's too low of a power draw and the computer mistakes them for a burnt out bulb.
