Transgo on a 03 HEMI
I just had a high stall converter, 4.56 with LSD, and transgo shift kit installed. I also have the Superchips tune 3714 I think. This one doesn't let you adjust too much. My question is this, do I install the resister on the transmission that came with the shift kit or do I leave it off. I saw a post that said to install it but the paperwork says to not install it if your programer has transmission modifications. I do think it will shift better as I didn't notice much of a difference. I don't want to buy a new trany any time soon though! I'm still breaking in the gears so I haven't nailed it yet. I'm not sure what to expect from this kit. Ayone install one of these kits on a 03 Hemi with the same mods? What to do, what to do?

I just added the resister. Seems to shift good except for third under light exceleration. Third is violent and doesn't sound good! Sounds like something is going to break soon! If I get on it, it shifts nice and ferm all gears. What if I were to install a latched rocker switch so I could turn off the real ferm shift for everly day light traffic driving and flip the switch when I'm at the track. Does anyone see any issues with this? What about changing the value of the resister to ease off some of the pressure? Not sure which way to go or how far of a jump in value I could try.

Thanks, I was thinking that too. It's nice to have access to someone who has done the mods I have. Thanks again for your help.
You wouldn't happen to know much about Hawk brake pads. It seems like I got the wrong ones. I have another thread on the topic. Thought I would ask anyway.

Never know unless you ask. I don't know why most people do brakes after they make their car faster. I think that it would be the other way around. For me, I would rather be able to stop faster first than to be able to go faster. I guess it's just me. Are you using some kind up upgraded brakes?
