Why hot rod a truck? To me its more practical to mod a truck that has more uses than to mod a car. Sure I can go out and buy a nice fast sports car that can out perform my truck but what else would it be good for besides just speed and getting into trouble? HAving a fast car really limits yourself as to what all you can do too. With a truck your options are almost endless. You can build it up so it is fast as hell, or build it up so you can take it off road, or both. I can take my truck out and mop floor with just about any car I come accross and right after turn down a rough dirt road andbe ablehandel it the same asI would on a pavedstreet. I will always own a truck, and it will always be modified over stock. Right now I am debating on whether or not to drop another6 grand in a few more modifications or put the money into buying a new ctd and modding it.

 

as the former owner of a acura cl type s with headers and intake (a high 5 second car)... the hemi off the line seems equally fast.

americans love speed, americans love trucks, americans love power this is why we hot rod almost anything we drive, be it an acura or an audi S4 or even a already sooped up Ford GT

my fathers point of view is it comes perfect from the factory. But I find with the addition of a few simple mods the car or truck can really become a beast, so why not modify it...

 

Besides, it looks cool as hell doin a burnout with an 18 foot bass boat in trail!

i love makin my truck go fast...how many full size trucks you see that are built for speed and are daily drivers? very few, it's nice to have a full size truck and be able to go fast one day and then go to Home Depot or somethin load up with some lumber the next day...cant do that in a car

 

its jsut sweet to know that you could pull up to a car ment for speed and jsut lay all over him...... for me im a mudd boy and theres nothin liek a v 8 roostertail
