Thanks dusty.... (i feel like i type this same paragraph twice a week, but i feel obligated since I have already done this same research)

For our truck, the most popular is the superchips Flashpaq model# 3815. There is no warranty issue, because the truck can be undetectably returned to stock at any time. The chip will reprogram your shift points and really sure up the tranny, which makes the most notable difference. Stay away from Hypertech, from my expirience, their customer service is TERRIBLE, and from others the programmer is not as good as the superchips) Stay away from any of those silly ebay resistors. Only go with something thatplugs into the OBDII port (the port where you find trouble codes, under the steering column)

As far as your truck, if you only want to level it out, you can get a set of spacers for the front. Mine came in yesterday. You can buy them new from 4wheel for $79 + tax. This is a cheap, easy mod (there is even a GREAT DIY on these forums for it) and will, if I am not mistaken, allow you to put as large as a 33" tire under there without worry.

By firming up the tranny shift point, it actually reduces slippage which, on paper should prolong the life of the tranny. As for the warranty issue, Go here,read...
