2500 with lift and 37s hemi, pull good?
Well i wouldn't mind getting a 2nd gen if I can find a nice one with either under 100,000 miles, or around that. They don't come by often. I am reallyyy picky about which truck I want though.
I am going to try and find somebody with a lifted 2500 hemi and talk to them though.
I will keep yall updated though...keep the opinions coming!
thanks

I had a 2004 quad cab 4X4 hemi with 7" Lift and 37`s. It will do anything i wanted it to do. I had the optional 4:10 gears also. You wont having any problems pulling what you want. Get one, You wont be dissapointed.

3k for new gears, WTF???? You thinking 14k gold gears here dude? How about roughly $200 for the rear set, $225 for the front and about $100 for a master install kit w/Timkin bearings. So I guess you're figuring, about $2500 for the install. You got me thinking aboutopening a 4x4 shop in Texas! Now I'm not disputing he'd be better off with the CTD in the long run, but c'mon, 4.56 gears can be done on a Dodge 4x4 for between $1000-$1100 at many reputable shops. I had mine done PLUS the purchase and install of an Auburn LSD for a hair over $1400!!!

$5k more for the CTD. Add in $3k to the hemi for new gears and you are looking at $2k differnce. Get the CTD or get nothing! This is comming from someone with a hemi.
