Well, straightdown.Takes some tuggin', too. You're taking the hose off the coupling. I was afraid I was gonna break somethin'. You can just pour the stuff into the hose while someone keeps it running for you. Follow the directions. As the label says, the "...fumes are intense..."

I just did it and it idles perfectly smooth! It also seems to run a little better.
The engine light came on though and my truck is throwing a P0300 code.
Will this go away?

Code P0300 is a "engine missfire detected".

Might be a plug fouling or spark not igniting the mix, due to the fumes/seafoam?
Al.

It's always best to plan a Seafoam adventure right before doing the plugs & changing the oil. You can do it by itself though.

The misfires happened during the Seafoam application. You should be able to clear the CELs without them coming back.

What are the CELs?
Check Engine Light, or MIL(Malfunction Indicator Lamp, lots of names.

Take it out and give it a little bit of the loud pedal, gotta get all that stuff cleared out of it. The code should clear itself after a few key cycles or you could disconnect the batt too.
