I've been doing a little research on Anti-sway bars. I would like to hear some more feedback, from anyone with experience with them. They seem to stiffen the rear-end very firmly.

What are your thoughts? Would you recommend them? What type are you running?

I have the Hellwig rear anti-sway bar and love it. Corners better, doesn't jump around as much in bumps on curves, etc.

 

Is it a real big improvement going around corners? I mean, how would you rate the lean around a corner, with and without the sway-bar? How much did you pay for your sway-bar, if you don't mind me asking?

Hellwig on mine, too. Yes, big difference in turns. Much flatter, turn in seems to be better as well. Monroe Reflex shocks on mine, probably in the summer. It'll have 100K on the OEMs. That's supposed to help a good bit, as well. Sorry, left this out: mine was $231 delivered. Took about two hours to install. As many folks have mentioned, the threads on the bolts are not cut very well. I had to put the threaded rod in my bench vise and run the nuts all the way down. If I'd done that on the u-bolts, they'd have gone in easier, too.

You'll notice the difference right away with a Hellwig rear bar. I don't have one on my Ram yet, but I installed one on my previous truck and loved it. Hellwig makes great stuff.
Don't waste your money on Addco, though. Theirkits don't compare.

 

Well, I thought an update was in order.. And might I say, why didn't I do this sooner! I finished installing it myself and might do a DYI, to help others here. It gets tricky around the brake-lines during install and around the "*****y resonator."

My thoughts so far, I'm very extremely happy. The handling improved big time! I would recommend this anytime to anybody with a QC Hemi. A cost effective improvement with great results, well worth the 200.00 shipped!
