what about the old people that go really slow and dont really know where they r or where they r going. cant see where hey r goin cant remembr whivh pedal is the brake. they r just as dangerous.

or the guys that want to merge on the freeway but arnt going fast enough so everyone has to slam on their brakes. Im sorry but here in Cali everyone drives 5mph over the speed limit. And I mean everyone. I think they need to start making local training courses like the police ones to let anyone test out their cars. that way its on a closed course.

Speed limits are tenuous guidelines at best: you go with the flow of traffic, driving too far under or too far over the speed of the traffic around you will cause an accident. Why drive 65 on an open interstate when 75 is safe? If that same interstate is wet or icy, then go 55. Speed is one aspect of driving I always go by the rule "Drive for Conditions." The police always harp on the fact that "speeding is the leading factor in crashes," which I think is a load of bull. Damn near every accident I've ever seen or heard about was caused by driver distraction or failing to drive to the road conditions.
