Default Ticking/Clicking Noise

Hey guys, whenever I drive my ram on the road I hear this ticking or clicking sound coming from both front doors and its driving me crazy! If I apply pressure to the door it appears to go away. I am going crazy to the point were I want to take the door panels out of dynomat the f----ing thing. Does anyone else have this problem? Any manuals online on how to remove the door panels? thanks!

If you have to apply pressure, It sounds like the door lock jam might be a little loose.

Try jerking on the door from inside & outside to see if you hear anything.

Yeah but the wierd thing is that when I get home I open the door and try to play with the lock a little bit to see if it makes the noise but it doesn't. I even shake the door and I cant get it to make the noise. Its wierd and its driving me loco.

Are you saying when im driving and the ticking noise is happening? No, just sounds like a tick or a click noise. Just like when you click your mouse on your computer, that type of sound but almost constant when im driving, even more if its a bumpy road.

Hello,
Did you everfigure out your noise?I have a similar issue. My noise is coming from my seat, I think, but I can not track it down.

Thanks for the suggestion. It is definitely not the window. When it first started happening I thought was coming from the drivers seat. Then it went away. Then it came back and it is hard to isolate the sound. I still think it is coming from the drivers seat lumbar area, but I cant seem to locate it. It is not very loud, but is becoming more annoying by the day.

My truck, 2007 Quad cab had the same problem. The noise, at least in mine was with the oval ring around the door lock. What I did was cut a 1/2 inch square piece of 3M tape and put it in between the door and the oval. It took a couple of pieces in each, but it's as quiet as can be. I hope this helps.
