holy ****, raped firefox... im so glad i dont run windows, ive never missed it just like ive never missed not driving a big sexy dodge ram. I would let this guy talk his trash, maybe point out all of the recalls they have had on the tundra. In the end he is just the loud mouth who needs to feel superior and you are the one who likes your truck and doesnt need to beat on it to prove a point.

C'mon guys can't we all just get along?

Redneck, Yankee, Rebel, etc., we are all living together in a FREE USA.

I for one believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The heck with where they live or how much money/toys they have. This is supposed to be a fun/educational forum. It sure isn't a place to stage a 'Rambo' fight on the web.

I would be willing to bet money, that if anyone from this forum broke down within 100 miles or more of another member, and was able to contact the other member, that other member would be on his way ASAP to lend a hand.

Life on earth is short and shouldn't be used to try and downgrade one another.

I could go on & on but I feel you get my point, andthese areonly my opinions. They may or may not be factual.

BTW, in order to have this Freedom you have today, please remember the Veterans that gave it all. I only gave a little.

Now that's the end of my 2 cents worth.

Speed Safely,
AL

trash talk? All I'm doing is what the original poster wanted, advice on if he should risk his money on racing a tundra.
I'm sure he'll get beat and I provided evidence to support that. Who knows maybe 250 is a lot of money to some people or just 2 weeks worth of gas. (sad when you spend more on gas than you truck payment LOL)

I love my dodge, I hate tundra drivers, made that clear in several other threads.
Just because you acknowledge there's something better (tundra being faster) than what you've got doesnt mean your bashing what you've got. You kids not the smartest kid in school, wifes not the hottest wife out there but doesnt mean your bashing them, you still love them. there's always a truck thatll be better that yours in areas, I'd like to see a ctd in a tug of war with just about any truck. Some guy here in town has an international with a pickup bed in it. Looks pretty bad ***, cant imagine the fuel econ.

As far as the within 100 mile statement I'd say that's pretty fair, I'd say for me make it 500 as I dont have anything to do. Hey any excuse to load the coolers with beer and hit road.

You're right - I'm a member of several car-related message boards, most for 10+ years and one for 15+ years. I have helped broken club members in the past, anywhere from bringing tools & parts to towing them where ever they needed to go.

I don't think I "attacked" anybody. I simply said that a truck dragging video doesn't prove anything, and that a VW New Beetle doesn't run a low 8 in the 1/8th. I'm not ignorant of foreign cars, nor of Toyota products. There are 2 Tundras and a v8 4Runner in the family. I've built a 500+ rwhp Supra. I have nothing against Toyota; I just don't want a Tundra.

I graduated HS (private military school) a long time ago so today's figures don't concern me. I agree many of today's teens are stupid, not just academically but in plain common sense.

Do this: Hook a trailer up to both of them, then run down the quarter mile. Then, get a nice tow strap, hook up and see who wins. Then you can do a regular quarter mile to make the toy owner feel better.
