Default They CAME! Recon's Backup Lamps

After A LONG Await - They Finally Came. As Always I Post Pics And My initial Review..

I Think They Are Bad Azz! They Look Fully Sealed And Claim To Be Water Proof For Boat Ramps, Or Muddin'.

They Also Swing Out Of The Way!

Features: (off The Box)
- Xenon H3 - 12V
- 110 Watts 250,000 Candlepower
- 100% Waterproof
- Salt Water Safe
- Adjustable Mounting Brackets
- Widest Beam of any Reverse Lamps

I Was Scared They Were Going To Be Those Cheep Driving Lights You See In The Store - But I Have Gotta Say, They Look Pretty Hardcore. You Guys Know, I Wouldn't Put A Crappy Product On My Truck. These Backup Lights Look Pretty Futuristic! I Am Excited.

Here's The Pics of What I Received.

Here's Whats Included..

For Some Reason My Flash Is Making Them Look Green and Chipped.. But They Are Not - They Are Black With A Smooooooooooth Gloss Finish.

Can't wait to see them! I like the idea of wiring them to your reverse lights, and not using the switch.

Cant wait for the DIY. I had the "cheapy" back up lights on my last truck and wired them in with a switch. It was nice because I could use the lights and get out of the truck to get a good look and not leave the truck in gear. You might want to consider that before you hook them up to the reverse lights. Also nice to use when high beemers are behind you on the road. Good Luck

Very Valid Points.. I Have To Ponder.. But If I Do Use A Switch I Want To Use A More "OEM" Looking Switch.

Would it be possible to use a switch and have them work when you put the truck in reverse?
