The jap anese "Trucks" arn't so great if you are going to use them for work. Tundra dosn't have a fully boxed frame and the bead will shake the whole truck on the freway, a tailgate that you cant even put somthing that ways more than 180 lbs because they didn't weld the gate all theway not to mention the engene/transmission problems they have had since they came out with the current body style. one guy on toytotanation.com was cpmplaining about the chrome bumpers rusting after a couple months of owning it and toyota motor company wouldn't replace them neither would the deler.

They need to continue the power wagon with the 09 models. If they don't my next truck might not be a Dodge.

yeah...the power wagon is one hell of a truck...and a 1500 cummins diesel will be interesting, but why? I mean it makes more sense to give the diesel engine to the heavier sprung trucks?

What are you talking about? Tata motors is buying Jaguar and Land Rover, but Dodge still belongs to Chrysler, which is owned by Cerberus, who purchased it from Daimler AG. Unless you have some insider information?

Why would you not want a diesel option in the 1500's? Diesels are generally 30% more efficient than gas engines. No brainer to me.

In the news today:

Diesel fumes causes brain malfunction.... plus it is much more of a polutant than even gasoline is..... not to mention it stinks, its loud.... if you don't haul a heavy trailer or move 10 ton of hay you don't need it... flash - owning a diesel is not a status symbol
