Default Fog Light Trouble

I have a 2008 Ram 1500 SXT. I installed the fog lights and the dealer initiated the lights for me. Now the ABS and brake warning lights are on and the cruise control does not work but the fog lights do. Any ideas?

i'm assuming you've unplugged them to see if the issue goes away? also did you disconnect the neg terminal from the battery before installation?

Might wanna take it into the dealer sicne probably the guy goofed something up with your ECU.Everything on these trucks is pretty much controlled by the Computer. You canalso try resetting your truck by removnig the Negative from your battery.

I did the same thing as you the other weekend and haven't had a prob so far.

Like the other guys said, the dealer that used the starscan probably did it wrong. Did you stand there and watch him do it? Was he fumbling around in the menus trying to find the right one...or more importantly did he turn the igniton off for 10 seconds and then back on for 10after programming? If he just programmed it and then unplugged the starscan from the DTC port you'll have problems..

I would go back, If he enabled the fog light output with the star scan correctly, it should have not caused problems.
