Got an 04 QC Hemi and been trying to find a place to put some subs. But i dont want to do the, under the seat thing. Its my only place of storage on the whole truck. I need to keep it for other things. If anyone knows how i can go about getting a box for behind the back seat or any other ideas please share the wealth. thanks

 

yeah, JL audio makes a stealthbox. it takes the place of the center concole up front. thats the only other option you can do in our trucks. check it out at jlaudio.com

 

There is also a Single under the seat.You can still use the other for storage.

 

What are you talking about? You got a whole bed for storage. Get you a toolbox back there and get some under the seat subs!

 

You know, I was wondering about the same thing. I have two 10" Cerwin Vega's from my last vehicle, and I wan't to put them both in my Ram. I looked around JL's site, and I love the idea of the centre console stealth box, but that would require me buying not only the box, but a new sub. Then I'm still left with the two old ones. I was actually thinking of getting a custom box built so that it holds both my 10"s in the middle rear seat. Sort of a backwards L shape, one facing up, one facing forward. Any ideas?

 

Behind the back seat? You have room behind the back seat? My seat is part of the back of the cab-no space.

 

Yeah, there's definately no behind the back seat in an 04 QC. They're attached right to the back wall.

 

For the second gens JL makes a box that basically adds a center console to the rear so it takes up the floor room for the middle rear seat and holds a sub. I'm not sure if they have these for 3rd gens or not. They also make one that replaces the front center seat.

My setup is just having a box ontop of the seats. I'd like to do something else but not sure where else to put 2 12" subs as like you I use the storage space under the seat. Once side holds a amp and the rest I have stuff in. I don't even have room under there for a second amp. I put that in the floorboard for right now although I may eventually move it. I'm not sure.

 

I have two 12" Punches stuffedinto my rear under seat storeage spaces, in a Joe Fox box.
