yea, craigs list is a local site. so if you find something on craigs list in the LA section, it's somewhere around LA.

 

I will see if they have a website for the car show. It is at the NHRA museum. The next one is Wed, today for you tomorrow for me. I will take some pics.

Craigslit and Cars.com http://www.cars.com/go/index.jsp?CMP...id=1801366178/ are good places to start looking. For the cars.com website use my zip code which is 91723. Then you can search however far your willing to drive. 100 miles includes San Diego and Santa Barbara. Craigslist has a separate section for O.C.

L.A. is a big place, I am on the East side of town about 30 miles out of downtown. There is obviously a West side and the Valley, that spreads another 30 plus miles in the other direction from downtown.

Like these guys said the Cummins will be better on fuel and will last a long time. I have seen Dodge Cummins with 300K miles and still running strong. They are not slow, but far from it. If I put my Edge on level 5 in 3rd gear the rear tires break loose. My last tank of fuel I got just over 20 MPG. If I was you and had to pay all that money for conversions and shipping I would get the truck that will last the longest which will be the diesel. As far as muscle cars I like to day dream on this site www.cars-on-line.com

Yea found this forum due to my dodge is a pos. All the ford trucks I owned held up much better.

 

Just found a cheap ram on Craigslist (shame its yellow) but it has a "salvage title" . Can someone fill me in what that means??
