please help me
I have a problem. I have a 2003 dodge ram regular cab with a hemi. It vibrates when i am going around a corner below4 mph. It is either when i am barely moving or when i am stopped and start to move. But the weird thing is thatit only happens when im turning. I put the truck in neutral and shook the drive line and the output shaft in the tranny moves about a millimeter. I may think this might be the problem but i am stuckon why it only happens around a corner. Does anybody know what may be the problem? I also checked the tranny fluid for any burning smell, checked motor and tranny mounts. Thanks
Uh,
It may be time to add some more treatment to the rear diff. When that friction modifier gets old, it starts to go away and you get that weird popping vibration from the rearend. It caused by the clutches grabbing and releasing. Maybe its just time to change the gear oil. Oh, I should say that this only applies to LC-LSD's (1500's).
If you're running a one-tire-fire setup, its something else. You may also want to check to see if a caliper is hanging up a little too.
Just my .02

Okay i do have a 1500 2wd with IFS. I just bought a tranny service kit , tranny fluid and differential fluid. I will change them out since i have never done that since i bought the truck a couple months ago. I will do a bunch of work this week in my autoshop. Change engine oil, shift kit, tranny service, rear lowering shackle kit, and differential. I have a posi and i know a posi will virabrate around corners some but it shouldnt be this bad. I think the problem is in the differential.
