the top of the front window. Like an stripe across the top?
I want to get it done, and I kinda wanna do it myself. Not sure how hard it is.
Any input would be helpful, thanks.

I believe tinting is worth paying someone to do it. I have a local shop that does a great job and backs it up. If it ever peels, discolors, gets damaged,or you just don't like ityou can take it back and get it replaced for free.

Yes. It’s called a uni-brow or a visor is what I’ve seen people call it. I had it done on a car we've had before and they are great! It seems easy to do, just have to find some tint long enough, let us know how it goes...I want to do it to my ram once I get a new windshield, the crack is getting big and I know of a place that will wave my deductable :-).
I am gonna do 6 or 7 inches
and I am gonna have the tint match the front windows. I think they are 15. The back three are 5. Kinda fading lighter forwards. Looks good. It will look really good once its all done I think.

I had that done on the dakota, and I loved it. I'm gonna do the same thing to the ram soon

I see your in KS...I'm over in Indep. MO and there's a good tint place that'll do a brow for 20 bucks here in Indep. It's called Eclipse, PM if you need the number, I had my Ram and my Jeep done there, I send my friends there as well. It's right off I-70, depending on where you're coming from and if you ever get over here.

it's fairly simple. especially in our trucks...none of the windows are hard to get to at all.
just use some baby shampoo/water to keep it soaked...it will not stick until you squeegee all of the water out from behind it. seriously, when the film is wet, it will slide around your window like a credit card would on a glass table...NO stickyness until it is squeegeed out and dries out for a few days. the hardest part (especially for you), will be cutting a perfectly straight line. sit on your hood and use posted board of something to trace the edge of your window (doing it from outside is so much easier). trace that into tint film, cut it and make sure that bottom edge is cut immaculately or it will **** you off like forever.

Look on your windshield and a few inches down from the top you will see a dash mark. ANYTHING besides the rear view mirror below that line can get you a ticket. Some states are real hard on the laws about the front windshield and some insurance companies will not cover you if you have anything below that line.
