Default Ram 1500 Quad Cab

Question: If I buy a used 2008 does it still have the factory lifetime guarantee? Also, does it make sense to buy new or used with less than 10K miles? I been getting quotes for a about 22K to 23K +TTL is that a good deal for the 24G package that accompanies the Texas Lonestar Package. What have others paid for their Lonestar Quad Cab? Thank you.

Lifetime warrenty only applies to the original buyer of the vehicle. Going new isnt too bad right now anyway with the rebates and purchase incentives offered.

non transferable, and from past experience, you get a better finance rate when you buy new, and dodge has tons of rebate offers right now, go get a new one, it's worth it.

I can't seem to get dealerships to budge off 25K or more + TTL I want to buy for 22K - 23K out the door or less. Can I purchase a warranty from Dodge directly to re-up the warranty? What about purchasing a third party contract that Dodge recognizes at their dealerships? Also, I was told yesterday that the incentives are $7,500.00 with the owner loyalty credit and additional incentives (current owner of a jeep). I wonder if the incentives will increase given deeper in the year and closer to the new model run not to mention rising fuel prices?. Any thoughts? I'm looking to buy this month end a 2008 Quad Cab Lonestar package (26G Hemi) with popular equipment package (ALW) and 20-inch chrome clad aluminum wheels. I'm located in the Dallas area and I've been to several dealerships none (6 dealers) seem to have the options I want in stock. Does anyone have personal experience with a good dealer that is willing to negotiate and have units in stock in Dallas? Also, what about online any dealers that can pass a savings on to me? Any online dealers I can go directly to to purchase? Also, please share if you can prices you paid for your 2008 Ram trucks. Thanks for all you comments in advance.

right now is inventory clearance. 2009s are coming out. 2009s are waaaay different than the 2008s. think you can hold off another month or two? if so, i think you can get the price you want. we got a total of $13k knocked off of our truck. $10k in rebates plus $3k in negotiations.

June/July are usually the months of huge discounts (Employee Pricing, etc.). If you could really wait, I've seem some rediculous deals around December (but that's a gamble, and who knows if the truck you want will be around then).

Well I've been refining my truck search and want to bounce these options and numbers off everyone before I go back to the dealer(s) with my formalized offers. 2008 Quad Cab Lone Star Package 5.7 Hemi, Customer Equipment Package, Popular Equipment Package, 20 Inch Chrome Clad Aluminum Wheels, and Sunroof quoted 25.8K without negotiations $7500 rebate. I propose to offer 23K out the door and ask offer 25K out the door for the same model (leather interior) for the Laramie. Any thoughts from the forum would be much appreciated and I know I have next month where deeper discounts due to the new model year coming up real soon. Thanks for all your help I really feel much more educated with all or your help.

Just to piggyback, the warrenty is not transferable. READ the fine print, in order for your warrenty to be valid you must have your truck inspected every five years. But it gets better, it must be within 60 days of the in service date anniversary every five years.
