Premium is not recommended. Right out of the owners' manual, 87 is ok, 89 is recommended.
I agree right out of the book, 89 is the recommendation.

With the Superchips programmer and the "power wire" resistor mod, I don't mind using 93 just in case. Why complain about a $5 difference in fillup cost when you're over $70 anyway?

Using 93 octane since new in my 05' with SuperChips set on theperformance tune and other additional performance mods too; so far so good - but cheaper fuel prices would certainly be welcome as well.

With the hot rod setting from a programmer, thats a little different. Your ignition timing won't retard with lower octane fuel like the factory setup would. Need to use premium then.
