Sound when accelerating from a stop?
06-08 Only Have MDS.
The only noise mine makes is a squealing noise occasionally at take off. It's kust the Goodyears not being able to hold the torque of the Hemi
No odd noises like listed above, though.

And yeah, mine makes that not so annoying squealing noise more frequently than that very annoying hillbilly band bottle blowing noise.
Oh well, might as well order a real locker and get ready for the rear end to self destruct....
could be the belt..... was under the hood today.. and got that weird noise.... and then on my way home from work today.. i blew the belt... i tell ya... trying to turn with 35's on really sucks with out power steering!
I've got a 04 2500 4x4 with the same noise. With a lead foot.....I'll never hear it, but under smooth acceleration I'll hear it every time especially when the truck is lagging so to speak. Don't hear the noise by reving up the engine without it moving...replaced the exhaust from the cat. converter back with no fix. Had someone get in it and stand on the brake and rev the rpm's up to 1700-2000 in gear. Sounds as if the noise is coming from the torque converter area. Took that cover off and inspected the flex plate and checked the torque conv. bolts for tightness but they were tight. I'm convinced the noise is coming from the flex plate area....maybe a hairline crack in the flex plate. Hope someone finds out the fix. By the way..... I knew what the dealer would say so I didn't even waste my time.
