Default convert reg cab to ext cab

How difficult would it be to convert a reg cab long bed to extended cab reg bed?

probably wouldn't be much cheaper than trading the reg cab in on an extended cab to be honest. would involve basically replacing the entire cab and bed with a new cab and bed.

Lots of metal work and more money than you'd probably care to spend.

you know what they say, "if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it."

But to be honest, it wouldn't be difficult to just drive up to the dealership and trade if off...

It'd be cheaper to trade it off on an extended cab.

And I don't think that the RC/LB shares the same wheel base with the QC/SB. I'm not 100% sure though. If true, that would only make it exponentially more difficult.

i am with BUCKY on this one if they had the same wheel base u could use your regular cab long bed and change it to a QC shortbed probably not certain on this but on my 93 f-250 reg cab long bed i converted it to a f-250 extended cab short bed as they used the same frame the only one that was different was the extended cab long bed!!

i'm pretty sure they are the same wheelbase. i remember looking at that awhile back. the swap is possible but ur talking about remaking an entire truck basically.
