If it's still under warranty it can't hurt to get it checked out.

That doesn't sound like the exact problem I had, but mine was misfiring in the morning after startup (no problems with startup, just a couple small misfires for the first few mins).

My check engine light kept coming on from these misfires and it turned out (after about 2 weeks of diagnostics) that there was a small crack in one of my cylinders that was leaking water/condensation into the cylinders when I turned it off every night and then in the morning it was misfiring because of the moisture/rust that was forming in there. They had to recast that whole piece and replace all the gaskets. It was up to about a $2000 bill, but luckily the warranty covered it. (I had bought it less than a year earlier from CarMax)

Not sure if that helps any, but I guess I was telling you all that to tell you that moisture could be the problem, but if the check engine light isn't on, it's prob not misfiring.

How many miles do you have?
What kind of gas are you running?
What brand of gas are you running?

I had problems when I ran Exxon and I dare not even try any gas that comes from a generic station. Heard to many bad things when running cheap gas in power engines. Last thing I can think of, and since you have a K & N filter this is a long shot, but a dirty filter can sometimes cause this as when it starts up, the engine takes a deep breath and if the filter is in anyway dirty or clogged, it will stutter a little. Have you done any offroading????

First thing is change gas. You can run 87 but it is not recommended for the Hemi. You need to run 89 or better. Most 7/11's use Citgo, so there won't be a problem there. I would run your tank down to at least half then fill up with premium and this should fix your problem. Then start to use 89 from then on (until you get your tuner, then use wahtever gas you tune to). I had my truck tuned for premium and accidentally put mid grade in and my truck was hesitating and stalling until I dropped the tune to match the gas. Now I am back to premium...

As far as the filter goes, you shouldn't have to clean it at that mileage. Take a look at it and see if it is dirty and dry from the dust roads that you have been traveling. If you feel that it needs cleaned, you have to buy a filter charge kit from the autoparts store. You then clean and reoil your filter and let it set for a while to dry. This is the cliffnotes version, but if you want to clean it, just buy the K & N Filter charge kit and follow the directions. IMO though, I don't think it will need cleaned.
