4.7l with gears?

RE: 4.7l with gears?
I will let you know later this week! I am getting a Detroit Tru Trac and 4:56 gears installed on Thursday!
But from what a couple other people have said that have the 4.7, they have absolutely loved them! Have heard no one complain yet about installing 4:56 gears except for maybe they should have gone with 4:88's! But unless you are going to run a 38" tire then 4:56 will be more then enough!

On the interstate, you'll find that you'll lose about the same, because you are running about 400 rpm or so higher while cruising. Again, nothing major, maybe 1 mpg unless you are used to travelling at 80 mph or higher, where it may increase to about a 2 mpg loss...
