looks good. is that powdercoated black? whats to color of your rims? i saw black chrome today in person when i was picking up my tires and now im thinking about seeing if i could get my rims black chromed

 

Believe it or not, I spray painted the rims. They are gunmetal color. The calipers are stock.

 

can u spray paint black chrome? i am STILL trying to find black chrome door handles

 

Hopefully that rattle can paint will last for you. I've seen some go to crap in a fewmonths.


What kind of prep work did you do?

 

i have a friend who painted his 22's and they look great and its been 10 months. but prep work is very important

 

All the clear has to come off before paint. Then I primed the wheels with 2 coats. The paint I used is actuall wheel paint. You can buy it in various colors. The color would have been a little lighter, but I wanted them darker so I used black primer.

You can probably get them to look like black chrome. Buy chrome handles and then coat them with Night Shade spray on window tint by VHT. It should give you the black chrome look.
