My new 08 Ram with the HEMI is getting about 14.5 to 15mpg in the city and about 18mpg on the highway with under 1000 miles on it.
It is a Sunburst Orange BigHorn QuadCab with 20" chrome wheels and optional White letter tires with a 3.92LS gear.

I'm getting about 17 in town and the best I've seen is 19.1 on the highway. That's driving with a very light foot though. I almost always stay under 2,000 RPM's. I expect the highway mileage to get better because I've heard that it takes a few thousand miles for the MDS to fully break itself in. My mom's hemi has gotten up to 20.1, but I expect a little better because Ihave a regularcab and she has a quad cab.

I just bought my truck 1 week ago, brand new 08 QC 1500 Big Horn. First day I had it I drove out to my dads and got about 17mpg on the freeway, today, as I have 449 miles on it, i stayed at about 65mph the whole way and got 21-22 mpg, was very light on the throttle. Is this milage normal, I came from a 2006 Charger R/T with the same engine and these numbers are pretty close to what i was getting on that, I was very impressed, I know the gauge is probably not 100% accurate, but still. I heard milage gets better with more miles on the engine ?

thanks guys
