Mmstar whered you find the longer shocks at? As I read everywhere you dont need longer shocks. I put the leveling kit in my truck yesterday. The last shock I put the top nut on with the truck on the ground, Tighting the nut pulled the truck down. So the shock couldnt extend anymore and holy **** hitting anything in the road the front end bounces all over, the shock cant extend anymore. So if I can get this alignment issue worked out I need longer shocks..
The 2" longer uncompressed, 1" longer compressed shold work fine for me. Put a 2in spacer... whats the shock off of??

if you have an 06 or newer you dont get longer shocks because you dont have them you have struts! just put the spacer in on top of the strut and its good. (Although putting the spacer in is harder than they make it sound!)

my guys did my truck no problem. took him 20 minutes. and my camber was bad on my old tires with my stock shocks and 2.5" leveling kit.

i work at pepboys in plantation on sunrise blvd and flamingo. if you stop by, come later in the day like 6 or 7. we have a guy named hector in the shop who specialiizes in alignment. but he only works from like 5 to 9

I took it over to sears at broward mall, Buddy from dodge said they do a good alignment ( hard to get one done right) . My truck before I put the spacers in I guess was already maxed out on camber.. and like I said tighening the shock down pulled down on the truck. So once I put the longer shocks, camber will need to be adjusted again. Dont know if its a good idea to grind that slot longer, seems to be enough material there..

i dont know about the grinding, but id go get your shocks first, otherwise you'll just be wasting money. speeda and truck world has rancho's for $50 a shock. pretty good price for uch an over priced place
