I hate Dealers...need some help
So i bought my truck mid april of this year right....i figure out two weeks ago my CD player wont load CD's (first time i tried to use a CD) and My AC isnt blowing hard at all like right after i bought the truck. So i took it to the dodge dealer today cause its still under warranty and they say my radio cant be replaced for free even though they sold it to me like that, and that i have a broken door on a EG valve or some crap for my a/c. And none of its covered under my warranty when it states on the paper they gave me with info on it that my A/C is covered. My radio isnt on there but god damn they sold it to me screwed up they are gonna replace it. So i asked to speak to a manager and the only ONE guy that can help me is gone home for the day. THere is like 8 managers standing there cause i was mad and not a one can help me. They are like come back on monday and talk to the "main guy". So i told them to give me my god damn keys and i left. Anyone got any ideas of what i can do to get this stupid bastards to replace my ****. oh yeah and the piece for my a/c they quoted me at $700. I'll leave without a/c if thats how much it costs. Thanks guys
How many miles are on your truck.. Both of these issues would be covered under your 3year 36,000 mile warranty. If you are out of warranty, they might not wanna help you. If you bought it used, you probally signed an "as is" disclaimer and they don't have to do anything. And I hate to say it but all dealers hear the line, "well it was doing it from day one" but theres no way to really know unless you tried it before you left the lot...Please don't think I am against you here, just sharing a different side......
Yeah, if it's still underthe 3 yr/36K, they should fix it for free. I'd say go back on monday, and talk to who ever they said, and if they won't help you out I'd try a dealer that is not full of ********. I know one dealer near me that jacks up the prices on vehicles, parts, service, and on top of that, they treet you like ****, so I go the extra miles to get helpful, nice people.
the dealer i go isnt full of *** holes, but full of stupid *****!when i was first looking at getting a truck last year i was looking in the used parking lot and the guys i was walking around with was a complete dumbass! he didnt know **** and couldnt tell me anything about the truck! now today i speak to the parts manager trying to find out what pin i should run a wire off the parking light relay and he was like i cant look that up and theres no way of knowing. so i ask parts/service on here and he was able to tell me! so maybe just try another dealer. some are bad and some are good, you just gotta drive a little bit to find the right one
Ha ha I love it! I don't know howmany times I have gone to look at a vehicle to buy, and between me and my dad, we know more than the salesmen do! Except for the last two cars we have bought, two diffrentsalesmenowned the cars we we were looking to buy, which was nice to talk to,cause theyknow what you are talking about, and you can getreal world MPG n stuff like that. And YES YES, parts/service knows way more than mydealer's parts guy!
Well i have a 8yr/80,000 mile warranty and my truck has 39,000 on it. I even have a piece of paper stating what my warranty covers when i bought the damn thing. So im gonna talk to that guy on monday and if they dont help me then i am going somewhere else cause these guys are pissing me off. And as far as my CD player goes who the hell takes a CD with them to test drive a truck...i dont. lol. Thanks ill let u guys know what the turn out is.

Sounds like you bought an extended warranty that is most likely backed by a different company than Dodge. Those third party warranties are basically worthless. You usually end up taking them to small claims court. Be persistent and be sure to let them know that your thousands of friends here at Dodge Forum are interested in how this turns out.
