its a real train horn kit with a compressor and everything? ive seen a lot of guys either mount it where the spare is, or mount it under the passanger door mounted to the frame. if its a real one, where'd you get and for how much.....theres been a lot of questions on train horns lately and id like to do it too....maybe look into writing up a DIY for it with pics.

Which compressor did you get? This will be a huge factor in where to put it as not all compressors they sell are weather proof and will need to be protected. My set up has the 4 horn manifold and the solenoid mounted on the cross bar right in front of the radiator pointed down. The tank and the compressor I have mounted in the bed. I have a cap so I don't have a problem with the weather. The sound of the horn reverberating off the concrete when I push that little button is sooooooo loud.

Here is a pic of just my horns. You can kinda get the idea.

BTW, I also bought mine from seige. You can jump and get one quick for the $280 or you can bid on one from ebay. They have auctions that close daily. If you aren't in a hurry to get a set, pay attention and put in a max bid and just wait. I got my set for $220 shipped. I got the 3 gal. tank, the compressor, solenoid, relay, tubing and wiring, and the horns. Everything except a 12V switch for the horns because I wanted to keep the stock horn active.

Just put in a quality bid on a Kong quad with a 5 gal. tank as well. I was waiting for the Anvil but it's been on hold for months.
I'm pretty stoked.
