2007 dodge ram 5.7 107000 miles
try the rislone, change the filter, add a quart , let idle, changing rpm every 30 seconds or so. see if pressure comes back. If it does after 5 minutes or so, drive it to circulate the rislone to all the nooks and crannys. Its worth a shot and A good Idea to flush the engine before pulling the pan to get the maximum ammount of contamination out while the pan is off.

Stripped Threads. 2005 Ram 4.7L
Stripped the threads on a new oil pressure sending unit/switch
Got another new one, snugged it up, now oil leaks heavily from the unit when I start the truck.
Ive tried to back it out and replace and snug up a few quarter turns and try and try again.
Stuck in a rut with this and really don’t want to give up.

Yes it’s the housing, it cracked a good sized chunk from the top of the thread housing. It isn’t the traditional “drill at each side” crack. But, I definitely don’t think I’ll be able to use tap the threads.
yes a few layers of Teflon tape was applied in the original failed installation
The gunk is dried up JB weld (crap application) that I’m trying to carefully remove. I’m an idiot when it comes to these sorts of things and I really need a quick fix
