Default Flowmaster Exhaust Installed FINALLY!

I finally got around to spending some of my stimulus check. I went a couple weeks ago and had my local muffler shop install the Flowmaster Dual Exhaust Kit. I had them 45 deg the tailpipes cause I wanted to be a little different and love the way it sounds and looks! Total cost was $350. My buddy got his Chevy Z71 done a week before me at another shop in town and he spent $500 on the same setup. He admitted that mine sounded much better than his. I told him it wasn't the shop who installed it that made it better, it was what was under the hood! Let me know what you guys think!

How bad is the MDS noise? I didn't care for the helicopter sound. I had my exhaust removed and stock put back on.

That's why I haven't gone with the Magnaflow kit. MDS is funky when loud. Plus the stock 3" on my 08 is not very restrictive.

Looks good. Where did you get it done at, I'm actualy from Richmond. I just had a flowmaster put on my truck this past weekend. I have the duals coming out on the passenger side before the wheel. I'll see if I can find some pics.

To be honest, I really can't tell the difference between when the MDS is on and off. Maybe my MDS doesn't work, lol or maybe it doesn't sound as bad with the tailpipes the way they are setup. I don't know but I love the sound!

I got it done in Rosenberg at ONE STOP MUFFLER near where the old Dub Miller Ford used to be. They have done the exhaust on every truck that I have owned, they do really good work.

5" tips, pipe is much smaller.

I will be going out the back whenever I do mine. That worked good on my last truck and it keeps the tires from throwing junk all over the tips.

Looks good, though.
