I have an 04 RAM 5.7L QC, and I just bought it. What does the MDS look like, I would like to know if my truck came it with it.

Without popping off the heads, I don't think you can tell by looking, but it doesn't matter. MDS is standard in ALL 1500 series Dodge trucks with the Hemi, except the Magacab, from '06 on.
So, you ain't got it...

Its in the 2006 and up model years bud so you don't have it. I wouldn't worry about it if these guys are getting 17mpg highway your non MDS hemi is probably getting the exact same miles per gallon.

LOL! No, I didn't buy it because of mpg. Hell, I traded in an 2.4L Escape for this! So mileage is not a concern.

I was under the impression that with MDS, I should be getting 20-22 mpg on the highway (especially when it is only myself in the truck, and with a bed cover). I am a computer analyst/dork, and when something doesn't compute, I like to figure out why.
