Any one with an 07 thinking about after market intakes
I ordered the airaid modular intake tube for my 07, and found that the air temp sensor in the 07 has changed location from the previous years (its now right next to the tb as opposed to over the passenger side of the intake manifold) and that the intake had not yet been updated to handle this change of location. It was no big deal to fix...just required a little fabricaton but I thought I would point out that this could be a problem for anyone with an 07 looking for an after market intake.

So those of you that have cut the wire, what did you use to extend it? I had to cut a hole in my intake for the sensor and when I did it I made it so that with my powerwire it would reach easily. The problem is that without my powerwire I'm about 3 inches too short. I have been getting bad mileage lately which is mostly due to short less than 3 mile trips but I was wanting to check my MPG without my powerwire to see if it gets any better. In order to test this I need to extend my cord.

I just drilled a hole in the intake about where the stock one was and put a plug in the one that was closer to the air box, but any brand of wire would work for your purpose provided you get the right thickness, just make sure you get a good connection especially if you don't solder the wires.
