Default 2006 2wd Lift HELP!!

Hey all, Im new to the forum and I think somebody here may finally be able to help me. I have a 2006 2wd ram 1500 with a 2" level kit, and 33" BFG A/T's although it looks great, i want a 3" suspension lift. I can only find ones the are for 2002-2005 Ram 1500 2wd. Will this fit mine or not? Its from Rough Country and is 300 which i can afford, everything else out there is way out of my league at the moment..Somebody please help me!!! Thanks in advance.

If you do a suspension kit I believe you will have to remove the level kit, (at least this is the case with 4x4's), so you are only going to gain an inch. Add a 3" body lift to your level kit, it's also only in the $300 range...

Really? Alright well ive seen the body lifts, but ive heard bad things about those and I would be putting this on myself, and the body kit looks a bit much for me to do myself...would the 2005 fit my 2006 though??

I've done three body lifts on my own vehicles and helped three people. Done one suspension on mine and helped do two. Personally I think the body lifts were easier and took less time. PA makes a good kit with great docs and everything you need. I'm not trying to talk you out of a suspension lift, by any means, but any advantages in the suspension kit would be negated by the fact that you have a 4x2, IMO.
But you will have to lose the level kit, as a 4" suspension lift brings up the front 4" but the rear only 2" giving a leveled stance, with the coil spacers in, you'll be 2" higher in the front than the rear. With a body kit, it brings the whole truck up 3", so the level kit is needed to remain level...

ok thanks for the info... I might give the body lift a shot. Does it come with instructions because I'm not to much of an expert when it comes to this kind of stuff. Thanks again
