So, my stock pickup will have some changes soon. I have already added a K&N filter. I have the fogs coming, some Husky liner mats, a billet grill coming soon, and I ordered some of the Carr Hoop II's for steps. I will leave the engine stock for the most part. 310hp is pretty good for now. I may eventually change the stock muffler out for something else, ie Dynomax or Borla, but who knows. I actually kind of like the exhaust note right now, but the stock muffler probably does not flow as well as the aftermarket ones.
And lastly, I will change the wheels out for something a little cooler. I am thinking of something with a chrome lip and gloss black on the inside. Hmmm...what will the wife think?? LOL
Yea those new 4.7's are pretty ballsy...but with dodges high drivetrain loss you're probably only getting around 230 to the ground. Which is still more than the old ones put at the crank. Anyone dyno a new 4.7 yet?

That's the fog light kit that I bought then...you threw me off when you said it came with a relay.

On Can Bus communication Rams (2006 and up). The "front fog light output" has to be enabled with the STARScan. Out of the 250/300 times I have done this install, I have only seen 1 truck that was PRE-enabled from the factory...

Ok, so with downloading the update for the truck how long does this really take? Most dealers will charge an hour no matter what

(Just the programming not the light install)

I found the light kit on line and it included the install instructions in .pdf form. I checked them out and it has the instructions for the Star Scan thing or whatever......it appears that it would take approx 30 seconds to do what is required.....

but the dealer will probably charge an hour......ouch.
