Default Aftermarket shifter

I was wondering if anyone has seen an aftermarket shifter for the people who have stick trucks?I would like the look's of an old school pistol grip,I think that would be really cool.Thanks.

I don't have a stick in my truck, but my '02 Jeep is a manual, and if you pry the numbers out of the middle with a really small screwdriver, there should be a nut locking the stock shifter on there, once it's removed you should be able to unscrew the stocker, and screw anything w/ the correct threads on there. Make sure before you get anything too big it clears the dash, not sure if that's an issue in the truck....

why put a short throw in a truck tho? wouldnt you be forced to reach down all the time to shift?

I don think they actually mean a shorter stick sift but rather a closer shift pattern this way you an sift with less time and faster.. not 100% sure tho.

That's what it means. Short throw shifter allows you to make quicker shifts. I couldn't find one for our trucks either.

hmm....ill have to see where hes at ..but ya you would have to reach for the shifter just a tineeee bit but lol ....guess what ..i shifted this long as stick so hard and fast that ive broke the housing twice lol im really needed that short throw..and to be honest with the length of them now it would be nice...they make one for the high and mighty srt 10 but not the our small 287 ci 4.7's.
