Default Please help me! Urgent!!!

I am in Iraq, and my wife is 5+ hours from home. The "BRAKE" and "ABS" lights are on in my 2007 Ram. They started flashing, now they're on all of the time. She checked the brake fluid and it's good. Does anybody have ANY ideas? Of course no dealers are open today!

I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, but I'm a little stressed right now!

...Out...

If it's around ft hood here I can take a look at it. But if the brakes are working ok right now it may just be a sensor.

Cool, I appreciate the info. She is in Alabama, near Montgomery. The thing is, it won't stop beeping! It goes off about 4 times every minute.

Chances are there is an issue with the ABS, which will light those lights up and typically just disable the ABS system.

This is going to sound really obvious, but I'll suggest it anyways: recommend your wife check & recheck to make sure the Parking Brake is fully disengaged.

From the shop manual:

The park brake switch on the park brake pedal mechanism provides a hard wired ground input to the instrument cluster circuitry through the park brake switch sense circuit whenever the park brake is applied or not fully released.
The CAB continually monitors the ABS system circuits and sensors, including the brake fluid level switch on the brake master cylinder reservoir, to decide whether the system is in good operating condition. The CAB then sends the proper lamp-on or lamp-off messages to the instrument cluster. If the CAB sends a lamp-on message after the bulb test, it indicates that the CAB has detected a brake hydraulic system malfunction and/or that the ABS system has become inoperative. The CAB will store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) for any malfunction it detects.
